Once the commentary gets translated that should be cleared up. But given that Kirby's Zero Two is a final boss of Kirby 64 and a villain, this picture looked like Kirby's Zero Two was attacking the two kids from surprise by dropping off the tree it was hiding in.

This picture and its child ought to be approved since it's the first picture on this database from Darling in the Franxx to make this namesake connection.
