I thought the trailer confirmed that she was actually Matoya inhabiting Y'shtola's body. Urianger calls her Matoya. So when Yoshi P was saying she "looked like a Black Mage" she didn't mean Y'shtola wasn't a Black Mage, he was saying that wasn't Y'shtola, just Matoya in her body.
Also I doubt we're getting yet another caster class. We have BLM, SMN, RDM, and they already gave us BLU even though it's just a limited job. I doubt with the way they were showing it that Y'shtola was a healer role, considering she was with Urianger who was unmistakably an Astrologian, but even if she was that would mean we'd have FOUR caster-type healers. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it would be kinda boring and in my opinion disappointing.

urianger calling her matoya is true, but we still don't know the reason why. it could be that matoya is now in y'shtola's body or maybe something happened to matoya that cause y'shtola to take up her name. everything is just fan theory at this point until shadowbringers.

Well regardless, they only said it was BLM like, they didn't concretely call it BLM in any of the live interviews.
