I'm not Jewish so I could be wrong but just winging it as a Christian, I think the Star of David has been said to have a partial meaning of the 7 days of creation, seventh being the center of the star. I have heard many say it refers to the dimensions of control God has on the universe, but the Star of David has connotations for Jews and Christians and I am not sure anyone knows its true origin, I'm pretty sure the seven candle thing is the real symbol of Jews being the burning bush of Moses as a symbol of God's protection, and the star being exclusively Jewish is more of a modern interpretation.

With the 6th point missing, possibly representing the 6th day of creation where mankind and living things were created. With it's removal, it could implicate the gradual extinction of humanity and animal life on Earth in the Girls Frontline universe.

Again, I'm totally winging it because I don't know. Could just be artistic freedom.

    Also, Negev is cute.

I have a much simpler but, if anything, worse-informed theory:
    Chinese censors.
IDK what the Chinese Communist Party's policy towards Judaism is but they heavily regulate and censor Christian practice and outright suppress Islam. It's possible it's a loophole to get past some law about religious symbols. The cross necklaces G3, Ithaca and others wear might get a pass due to the inherent simplicity of the symbol or Christianity sorta being greenlit by the Party, while the Semitic girls have to make do with partial stars.

However in context to GFL's universe and how everything is SNAFU, the first explanation is just as valid.

Also FFS why do I find more philosophy on this site than others? Ya'll need to be professors or something.
