Kaga drew a "Great Misfortune/Curse" omikuji which is the worst of the lot. To ward off the bad luck, one would tie the omikuji to a pine tree or metal fence in the temple/shrine's grounds so that the misfortune will stay with the tree/fence instead.

So Kaga tying hers to Zuikaku is... well, you know =3
