Ok, I could forgive the Slytherin one, because pretty much no one in Slytherin house actually matched the house's ideals in the book (save occasional bouts of cleverness from Draco). It was pretty much the house of dumb thugs, racist jerks, and the occasional genuinely evil people (really, Medb is the only one who actually fits, being ambitious and decently clever when she puts forth the effort, with Cu Alter essentially being her Crabbe/Goyle).
The Ravenclaw one actually made sense, too, but Chiron in any house but Ravenclaw? The guy whose primary gimmick is being an educator, and who enjoys seeking new knowledge? And don't get me started on Achilles in any house but Gryffindor? I mean, really? His whole character is that he's an unrepentant, recklessly heroic fool.

It is a little saddening that people match characters in Hogwarts House colors based on [their] preferences rather than based on the character's characteristics matching the Houses' qualities
