Last time I checked, the Nazi didn't exist in the WW1 until the 30s

The closest equivalent of war zombie at that time would be Attack of the Dead Men (1915): German attacked Russian's Osoweic Fortress with poison gas attack, Russian soldiers were dying of gas but some remaining companies charged out half-dead and bayonneting, firing, artillerying many pacnicking retreating German soldiers.

Basically, they refused to die until finishing push back the enemies.
