Warspite was actually faster than Nelson.

There are plenty of reason why Nelson is part of the Big Seven, Kongou... her chest is one of them~

Hmm... Not really.

The Queen Elizbeth Class could only make 23 knots light loaded without their secondary guns as built. While Warspite did hit 27 knots for a bit she basically end up laming herself in the process, even after several rebuilds Warspite had trouble making 22 knots on trials and often had her rudder jam, which nearly had her ramming several ships at different occasion.

The Nelson class was design to make 23 knots and made 24 on trials and often hit that while underway.
