I mean, you could if you think it's necessary. Seems more like the kind of things you'd want to pend to the mods or the forum though.
On a side note, a very large number of the Japanese carriers are quite unstable mentally speaking aren't they?

Game-specific information such as that wouldn't be appropriate for tags on Danbooru. Tags are supposed to represent what's objectively visible in the image (save for some meta-tags that have other useful information concerning the image which might not be readily visible). The affiliations of these characters are to do with the content of the game, but not the content of the images themselves.
However, you might be able to make pools putting together official artwork of various characters based on their affiliation, or something to that effect.
