Has there been comments or complaints by either the manga author or the team behind the anime regarding the lewding of the Platelets?

I remember the artist for New Horizons not being happy about the lewding of Ellen Baker a few years ago. I also heard that that were complaints from the studio for Uma Musume about all the naughty art of the horse girls.

I think this one is open. Hataraku Saibou BLACK itself is a grim story with 18x elements, aimed towards adult readers.
New Horizons' Ellen Baker is a mascot for school children, lewding is naturally bad.
In Umamusume's case, most of these horses are well-known legends of last generation. Their owners and the company behind them are not that fond of the anime generation, and lewding may result in their rejection. If they are not happy, future copyright releasing may become a problem for cygames.

Seinen doesn't mean they're automatically fine with depictions of child pornography though.

Especially since seinen or not, Hataraku Saibou the entire series is built to be educational. So having fans who will loudly announce their thinking with their dicks 24/7 attitude should, if nothing else, mark that the manga had failed its purpose to make people willing to learn.

Not that any company in their right mind would acknowledge it anyway. Much like how despite the rampant rapes in doujin, no company will ever say they'll defend the depiction of their characters being raped.

Don't you mean "Depiction of human cells being sexually depicted"? Honestly, there will always be people that sexualyze anything, but that doesn't mean that the material's core purpose has failed in any fashion. Just that a sect of people have weird hobbies/fetishes.

Hell, even those folk might actually learn from the show. I am pretty sure most folk are not going to forget how the platelets just up and threw every red and white cells onto the fabric of the wound to clot it. XD

A thing that makes people willing to learn won't fail unless if it is utterly uninteresting put forth or is incorrect. Also, I must be honest, how would these folk sexualising cells make them any less interested in learning about the human body after watching the show?

I don't really see the correlation in that claim.

Edit: and wouldn't "Thinking with their sexual organs" rather than "Dicks" make more sense?

Sure they may learn a tidbit or two, and maybe you should say that that is enough for edutainment, but if all they really remember is "Platelet-tan peropero close my wound", that's still not really helping. Like you attending an entire semester of biology and that's all you're walking away with.

Note how after ep3 forward, the amount of discussions and arts around this series had fell dramatically, exactly in correlation to how Platelet only show up as cameo now.

That should enough show that while yes, the show succeeded in showing its lessons interestingly, once it became "uninteresting"(aka no more Platelet) to them, they simply just straight up won't care about the anime anymore.

Maybe that's the show's fault in not being able to keep it's interests up, but as far as I've seen if you go into the show wanting to learn stuffs, you should still be able to enjoy what it's giving you. So now is it not the fault of the fans whose "interests" is limited to "sexual arousal"?

Take some other examples of these widely sexualized medias that are supposed to teach you something. How many people do you think became more interested in learning English after seeing Ellen Baker smut? How many fans actually know what Nero Claudius the Caesar did after "him" otherwise having been "prominently" shown in Fate series for over 10 years now?

Of course you can say there are outliers who actually go out and learn after the matter of fact. The majority of them just aren't.

And no, it would make most sense to say "thinking with their hormonal fluctuation affecting their brain" than "thinking with their sexual organs". So screw political correctness, if saying "thinking with their dicks" is sufficient to communicate my message to you, I'm sticking with it.

I don't think its a fault of the show, its a niche-show about the human body. The runaway popularity of Platelet over everything else is unexpected.

They did put the two chapters with platelet focus next to each other at start of the series, breaking the original timeline. So it's not really 'unexpected', but rather 'planned'.

Because everyone is secretly a lolicon.

Fair enough. As you said, it gets yer point across and that is generally good enough.

Sigh, I wish I didn't need to acquire these episodes by "non-direct" methods. I really love how they actually teach about various cells and functions... though I find many of the hostile bacteria appearance... boring and wish they were more nuanced.

Tbf, the Fate guys are starting to finally use more male version of heroes in the game (I believe it became more of a thing after they announced the Western release).
But honestly, I am already a bit of a history hobbyist so all the "historical info" they were sharing in the game tends to rub me the wrong ways lot of the time.

I do enjoy the stories that are being told in the game (if a tad slow moving for my taste), but the lore in the Fate verse is categorically so different from ours that we can't even call most aspects of it "alternative version of our history" only "inspired by" our history. Seriously, Nero wasn't bad early in his life and often partook in humanitarian efforts, there is even indication that he offered his housing to the homeless and even prevented starvation after the burning of Rome.

But he was always extremely self centered when it came to showing off his artistic "talents" to the point of being something of a mental illness. And the last 2-3 years of his life he came out kind of like a pitiful fool. Though tbf the decline of his rule began a lot earlier, but I feel like his last years were the most poignant at showing how much he had lost his way after his mother's death (in 54 AD I believe?)
