How is Ayanami's verbal tic (the drawn out "...desu" at the end of her sentences) usually translated?

I also noticed that the only ones that get translated are the ones that have Javelin in it.

I don't really know but the added "yes" makes her sound really cute for some reason.

Translated the commentary to provide context for the next page (presumably Jean got splatted again). That said... who uses "boku"? I thought Javelin uses "watashi", and Ayanami is a third-person person, while Jean is an orekko like a certain pair of chuunibyous...

Edit: Maybe it's a third party (authors? editors?) (meta-)commenting on the scene and (accidentally) reenacting the previous one?
