Absolutely; although there are few characters that glasses don't help, in Iowa's case it's a wonderful layer of gap moe.

I've never been a fan of Yoshinori's "designs", so most changes to the official art by third parties are improvements.

Amusingly, it's specific to their doors, as well, since Gangut was the one knocking, and the onomatopoeia isn't Cyrillic....
