My opinion is that the English players did not have enough support. They played well, especially the first half. If the prince and his wife will came in Rusiia, for example. This would raise the morale of the players.

France vs England? France vs Croatia sounds much nicer, and more realistic

Bro, they had a lot of English supports, but the real reason why most people hate England is because their shitty behavior. if they're still relies on set pieces kick, they'll never take it home.

Well, England will play with Belgium for 3rd place tomorrow, so the picture only needs some small adjustment (the referee will be Iranian instead of Italian. Phonetically pretty close anyway).

Goals is goals, doesn't matter where they come from. France relied on a terrible ref to beat Croatia in the final.

I'd say England did their best, Southgate's tactic was effective. While your team didn't have players like Messi or Ronaldo, counter attack was a realistic option. And England has found some good players like Trippier, Maguire. I believe they would keep good forms in future.
