Effie is Faye's original Japanese name.

Do not change the tags, they were correct.

Please don't blindly change all the Effie tags to Elfi, either. I'm sure there were mis-taggings, but that was a legitimate tag.

Ah, my apologies. I haven't played the game, but from what I looked up, they seemed to be the same character. Was I mistaken?

No, not even close. They're from different games, and their names (and, well, their genders) are basically the only thing similar about them.

effie (fire emblem) is Alm's childhood friend/stalker and a villager unit that transforms into something like a paladin or saint class (or an archer according to Heroes)

elfi_(fire_emblem_if) is a brick house an armor unit that is a female bodybuilder with Yuyuko syndrome a bottomless appetite and bodyguard for Elise.

Likewise, don't get Leo (Fire Emblem) (Leon in English) confused with Leon (Fire Emblem iF) (Leo in English), even though they apparently are just TRYING to confuse people with that one!
