Tatsuta is never too pretty. Just "pretty enough to do her justice" and "not quite there".

Why do I get this feeling that after getting Mod 2 those two will be more... assertive... in regards to Hisamura after having him requisition their kits.

No, Tenryuu IS the older sister.
Don't remember how you couculate a kanmasu's age but I'm sure "Shinhwalee" is correct.

According to Wikipedia, Tenryuu was laid down first but Tatsuta was completed a few months ahead of her.

To which, to quote Tenryuu (of all people):

it's okay Shiratsuyu.... kai-ni have number 2 in it, so by having kai-ni, you're technically not ichiban anymore.

Harusame wasn't in Kancolle from the beginning, so it's the same thing that goes for Yamakaze.
But in the other case, Samidare and Suzukaze...

I hope we will get a continuation of this comic since the Devs just announced that Tenryuu will likely get a Kai 2 this Summer. That, and Shiratsuyu will get her this July 12th !
