It's been awhile since we had a catastrophic trip collision.

Takes you back, doesn't it? Now things are about to go horribly right and wrong at the same time, just as they should be!

But the author set up (and reminded) about Kikuzuki's jammed gun, so I'm starting to believe that the cap is now a red herring, and either the cap will go flying well over Ta-Class and sink or be somewhere Inazuma can't reach it, or else the Abyssals will just laugh and say that of course they can tell the difference between Abyssals with a cap on and a shipgirl (nevermind the wig fooling them about Shimakaze) so that Kikuzuki can bumble into saving the day, instead.

Considering this group's track record... I'm reckoning on it working, but Kikuzuki fragging the team as they celebrate.
