"tao" is mean "the way", as same as Korean/Japanese "do" in Karate-do, Taekwondo, Sensha-do. ST AR-15 mean AR team members follow "that way" with that block hairstyle.
Actually, I think she meant to say Taobao which is the Chinese equivalent of eBay. Basically they all bought it on internet. Although it is an understatement to compare it to eBay, but that's another story.
If I remember correctly, what she means "tao" is because her lock of hair resembles her picatinny rail (quad-rail), which means the lock design is following "that way" like her picatinny rail.
