I'm from the future, and they did add, but not the kind of you were expecting for.

I don't know what fans they were serving, but they weren't those of the original.

Well, they sure aren't giving Yuffie such a swimsuit. They even zipped up her shorts and took off the fishnet thighigh in Rebirth, so that kind of a shibarikini(?) is totally a no-go, sadly. But there are still hopes that Tifa and Aerith are getting some not-that-decent/plain swimsuits.

Nah, they went even tamer then I expected. Their beach wear in Rebirth is as safe as it could be. Even "Ever Crisis" summer outfits showed more skin on Tifa and Aerith.
