That's what I thought too the first time I took a look. Looking closer at the way she held it, the position it was in and Remilia's reaction, but seeing how it wouldn't be the first time fkey put firearms in their hands, is what clued me in the most. Flan did not have a book in her hand prior to this, so it would make even less sense for it to be a book. For clarity, I would have liked it to be slightly turned to the side, so we could see the shape of it.
