To be honest, I hope KanColle's version of Enterprise is almost similar to Azur Lane's portrayal. Of course... with a deck similar to an M1 Garand or a Thompson like Sara's.

Thankfully Yoshinori is not a hack so that travesty won't happen and we'll get something actually good.
If you mean that the Azur lane Enterprise is bad, then... you're just being a biased fanboy IMO.
I'd rate her as easily better any previous fan depiction I've seen, and frankly better then most of the Kantai Collection carriers as well. The moment I saw her I was like "yes, this is good, this now my Enterprise". First off the artist gave her grey hair like she indisputably should have instead of people constantly making her fucking blonde, and I quite like the coat and uniform combination along with the long tie and cap. The bow I can take or leave for an American carrier, but the integration of her island superstructure into the grip section of the bow was a very nice touch.
She looks good while also being instantly identifiable as the ship she's supposed to be, which is considerably more then could be said regarding many of the carriers in Kantai Collection. Her personality at least what I can gather from the limited fanon seems right about what I'd want too. Serious and capable of intimidation, but not devoid of emotion or overly aggressive.
A bunch of the designs in Azur lane, particularly for the Japanese ships, ARE cringey as hell, but Enterprise is fucking great IMO.

Huh. You are right, grey hair does suit her. I had always pictured her as red eyed blonde for some reason.
Rigging wise, I know KC set the trend for bows, but I still think that USN CV should use break action shotguns, firing birdshots that turn into planes.
I always expect a reference to Halsey in any Enterprise design, perhaps a bull head pendant or necklace, or maybe even wearing a full bull skull as a shoulder piece on top of her grey coat.

Not unprecedented - Sara's flight-deck rigging is fashioned as a tommy gun.

the greatest irony would be if Shibafu actually designs a Azur Lane ship-girl... but hey what can I say Girls Frontline had Parsley design G36C even though Shibafu is the defacto "main" artist of Kancolle... bonus cake if Shibafu ends up designing USS Idaho or something from Ireland (HMS Dublin?) making the potato jokes come at it's fullest revolution

This. All of this. So much. Enterprise's design is so awesome I actually thought she'd been implemented in KC when I first saw fanart of her, and was shocked when I learned she was from Azur Lane.
So many of AL's designs look like extras from one of those random shit-tier harem anime Japan churns out every other season, but they somehow nailed it perfectly with Enterprise. Just the right mix of 'dignified/serious' and 'waifu' material.
Yes.Good day.I presume you're the aircraft carrier who has come here for the naval review?Thank you for coming so far.I am—Aircraft carrier—
