She used to be a man in her former life, so it's legit for Kosuzu to think like that. And yes, that is how old men in Japan act (some of them). It's hilarious to see Akyuu doing that, old habits die hard it seems.

And since that Akyuu is the ninth incarnation of the same person, she's mentally 90+ years old by now. So yeah, this loli is really a grampa/grandma from a certain point of view...

On further thinking, it was probably 150-200+ by the fact that each incarnation lived to be at least 30 years old (and that each incarnation lasts shorter than the previous).

BTW, I just noticed that Akyuu in the first panel looked like she was drawn in the art style of FS instead of Futa's usual style...

Canon is a bit unclear on that.

While she says in one place only memories related to the Chronicles are preserved (Her commentary on Aya's article about her birth). But in another place she says she does have some memories of past lives, even a few from Are (her first life). (her monologue in Perfect Memento)

So maybe factual information (book learning, trivia, etc) is preserved perfectly across reincarnations, but personal memories (personal experience of events and feelings and such) is transferred imperfectly across reincarnations?
