I am more wondering if those are photos from the steel days
Considering that they're implied to be voyeuristic, probably not, but I really, really hope they are. Like, if there are pictures of sailors (LITERALLY, no innuendo whatsoever) scrubbing Bismark's deck, or pictures of Bismark's boiler room, or stuff like that, that'd be the most hilarious thing.

The pictures are a combination of British Intelligence stealing classified blueprints (you can see right through the armor!) even other ships of the Kriegsmarine weren't privvy to, and photos Ark's own aircraft took of the damage (providing "upskirt" views of the damage caused by the torpedo to Bisko's aft) in the war.

Lewd! The Brits really have their priority straight
I really want to know exactly what Ark's feelings towards Bisko are. Ido is not Nonco so I'm pretty sure that Ark wouldn't be torpedo bombing Bisko if she really wanted to get together to the point of wanting to be in the same room.
And there's no way their wartime relationship would in any way inspire a sane writer or reader to think of romance.

You forget that Japanese fandom conventions means that rivals (especially of the same sex) = lovers. Absolute fanatical nemesis that fights to the death therefore = One True Shipping.
Just remember: The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The more passionately someone feels about someone else, the more that will just be interpreted as sexual tension.

Then I'd expect a standard tsundere slap fight instead of a divebomber wing. Ido has drawn Ark interacting with other shipgirls without her weapons drawn so I'm not sure why it should be a special sign of love for the Germans, if that's indeed what it is.
When she first met Bisko with the planes out there were so many posts to the effect of "I see where this is going" based on their original conflict so I just find it strange that the same gesture would be interpreted as affection over time.

Then how would they interpret Hood? Just the unfortunate victim of Bismarck in the same vein that Abukuma's the unfortunate victim of Kitakami?
Went ahead and reordered the pages so that this shows up after the strip it serves as a "flashback" for, as has been suggested by earlier comments.
