All of the summer art I've seen uploaded before today has something too long involved; usually the legs. But, since that's sexy, people tend to overlook it. The battleships uploaded today look pretty good proportion-wise.
A few things, she seems pretty thin for a heavy cruiser/CAV. Body proportions seems ok for a thin lady. And why is she wearing flippers along with a boogie board?
But damnit, Mikuma, report to Hoshou and stuff yourself along with the ducks, you are too thin!!
Looking more deeply at these, this and its child post look unfinished rather than "shopped" to me. Like there was a deadline passed and what was done got submitted. The face just needs shading work to match the body and the shading on the body and especially that board she's holding are in an early broad-strokes sort of state. That doesn't have anything to do with the super-torso, though.
