I mean, I figured Japan was innovative enough on the "making overpriced cafes where girls dress in revealing clothes" front that they wouldn't have room in the ecosystem for something as relatively plain as that...

Americans like to brand stuff everywhere, so of course they'd expand Hooters overseas... but just because it can exist doesn't make it a good idea.

Never been to anything like that ( in Britain ), but it's pretty harmless. Americans are very socially inventive.
