You know, the first time it was mentioned (way back on the first page) I assumed it would be Yukari, since she's the only one I've heard that term used with. It actually took a while to become clear that it wasn't her. I should probably go back and check that I've remembered to always call the great youkai "it" as I intended...

As for your actual question, yeah, I guess so.

EDIT: I did in fact call it "her" a bunch of times. I mean, it may well be female, but we'll have to wait and see.

Well, if it's a creature from mythology (which I didn't know it was), does it still get the original tag? This isn't something I'm familiar with.

Hm, might be a bit of a grey area, really. I mean, if it were a "normal" Touhou OC simply based on the taotie, the way Aunn is based on a komainu etc. it'd definitely be Original, but this appears to be just a big furry monster.

I mean, either way, it's probably not worth worrying about too much.
