I suppose it can be a bit hard to discern what lens size and focal length applies to a drawn image.
If it's that difficult for a flagger to discern basic things that have to be pointed out to them (things have already been tagged), then maybe that person needs to stop and think before flagging images.

Well, aren't flags there for review when a person thinks that a post probably doesn't fit here (howto:flag)? Besides, flagging is an user right, so even if there are reasons that take away air to breath for the flag, the flag reason looks valid and not frivolous.
This whole Wendy thing is the best thing that has happened now that I have caught up with it. Also the fanart of Wendy... specially this one I can get behind(heh)on.
didn't we already address the quality in the *FIRST* flag?
Yes, but that would be too simple and make too much sense for this site. Explanation in forum #130998. The approver was warned about his approvals, so he thought that hastily re-flagging everything he approved before was the solution.
This is stupid. "Why do people get so annoyed with flags?" This is why.
I question that after two months of deleted status this post has been reapproved without discussion. I'd like to revisit this post for the reasons it was previously flagged for. The Aunt Fanny anatomy of this post is poor quality.
I was going through other contributor's approvals to better understand how they judge images and to learn from their example.
I noticed that the approvals of one respected user (you can check whom in the mod logs) had streak of deleted posts, occurring months after their approval, for reasons other than being samples. After carefully considering what the flags were saying and weighing the merits of the image based on what I've learned from others' approvals, I decided to undelete some of these images.
I was not aware that approvers were required to bring up discussions on undeleting old images that they come across should we decide the posts are worth including in the gallery. I have observed that other approvers have undeleted old images but have not seen concurrent discussions, therefore I went ahead and undeleted these images. If that was out of line, then I apologize, although I do not know where these discussions should take place the next time I come across an image I think is worth keeping.

@Squishy It's probably just 1 or 2 people in the Discord with a vendetta.

@Squishy I can't help but find it extremely dubious that a "respected user" was going through a streak of deleted posts (or that you'd feel the need to qualify it as such). If they were that respected, the flags against their posts wouldn't have been upheld by all the approvers besides themselves.
When it comes to someone with unlimited uploads priveldges, unless there's someone actively watching everything they upload, not everything will be flagged until after it is noticed, which easily can take months. If someone is actually so consistently uploading things in need of flagging that it warrants someone - or multiple people - actively watching them to flag what they upload, then they are someone who clearly doesn't deserve the privileges they have.
To be clear, the uploads in question were by various different users. It was the approvals of a user that I was going though. Sets of these approvals and their corresponding uploads were made months apart. There was a streak of flagged approvals in a two month time period that differ from usual flags (such as sample and duplicate) where the reasoning had me scratching my head.
I can PM you the exact details if you wish to verify this yourself, as I value your thoughts on the matter and would like your advice on whether or not I have overstepped in my actions.

It's more like, here's a controversial picture that had already been flagged multiple times with arguments in the comments, and then it gets approved without a word.
It's not like this is one of those rare, neglected pictures that catches a discerning approvor's eye, it's breaking a consensus.
