She's walking down the street of Omoide Yokocho (Memory Alley) in Shinjuku. The street is famous for small hole in the wall restaurants like yakitori joints where salerymen go after work to unwind.
The street also has an old nick name... "Piss Alley".
This is because prior to the Fire of 1999, there were no toilets available anywhere along the street. Thus people just pissed outside on the road... Which isn't exactly big. In fact it's very narrow. Dodging piss puddles, not cool.
However, compliments of the "urban renewal" that resulted from the fire, modern public restrooms are now available.
