If I recall correctly, the circle that the ゆ is inside of can be read as 'maru'. So the full symbol can be 'Maruyu'.

There's nothing mean or hilarious about it. It's literally the standard symbol for Maruyu. As firechikara mentioned, it's on her swimsuit.

She calls herself Maruyu. This comes from the circle "〇", which is read as "Maru", and the hiragana character "ゆ" which is read as "yu".

The implications of leaving out only Maruyu, while the rest of the subs are sparkling... disturbs me.
