Is that a Mac? No seriously someone has serious problems trying to find a grilfriend or at least some friends?. Maybe he blackmails people, no that cant be. How the heck did he got all that money!!!Oh, and those shelves.
I know this picture makes you feel frustrated, because you don't have shelves like those and you probably never will, you bunch of shelf virgins. But voting it down won't change anything. Let's all work together and get ourselves some sweet hot shelves!
That's one nice pad, I'm a neat freak and I can't compare to this guy's cleanliness and cash flow. But I can imagine his parents give him lots of cash, most likely the father is the CEO or executive of some Japanese tycoon corporation. Most hardcore Otaku rarely have a life, so I doubt this guy does with a huge assortment like this.
Maybe this actually doesnt seems to expensive, but what you dont know is that actually what were watching is only 1/5 of the room. And yeah everybody wants those shelves those actually seem pretty useful.
And at KnightBlades: What kind of computer technician has a Mac? No offense to Mac users, but IT's usually own PC's or Linux/Unix boxes. At least in my experience.

Maybe some IT professionals also build Hackintoshes in their spare time because they know how bad Windows can be sometimes.
It's a set of extended depth shelves with castors and a metal handle. Even a feeble comp technician like myself could knock that together in an afternoon, had I any use for such like.
You're right in that Ikea doesn't sell them though, because they generally have interior-only dowel sockets (the screw holes are just visible ). This could just be solid wood with and extended screws.
MDF(Aka Particle board?) would probably do fine, but unless they were damn well riveted together, the strain on the upper shelves could cause them to implode.
