    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 2034

”Even I...have things that I can't fix!” I don't know if Kibayashi-san ever said that, but I couldn't do it. (chuckle)
The original fuse seemed to already have blown, so I think the condenser had fuzzed out or something.
We'd been using it for about 10 years, and it would've cost more to fix other parts that were on the verge of breaking, so we went and got a new one (^^;)

Yeah, your survey's blown an option. Gonna take a few days to order a new one...

For which would you die if it broke?
    • Smart phone
    • PC
    • Game console
    • TV
    • Car

Reader-added tags include "Clone technique", "NEVER try this at home, kids", and "Survey in which I'd die if any of them blew out".

(My car actually has broken down recently, and I haven't died, but it's certainly tricky getting around to find a newer one...)

I guess the PC one for me.

And to explain the "Clone Technique" tag, Kogasauthor had uploaded this comic twice. He already removed one of them, however.

...That probably explains the child post.

    Edit:

    Ah, I see it. Gotcha.

He corrected a single kanji in Kogasa's last line (取 to 飛).

so I think the condenser had fuzzed out or something.

AKA capacitor, at least in the US. Sometimes when capacitors fail, they create a short circuit. If it was actually 10 years old it could also be a victim of capacitor plague.

My laptop (nearly) died on me once... That was scary as hell. I'm glad it was just the internal HDD that was busted. Changed it out for a SSD with double the capacity. Good as new. Immensely glad I made a copy of the hard drive about 3-4 months earlier, otherwise I would've lost 8 years worth of documents and applications...

Granted, she's turning 10 years old come this October, so I should probably get her a little sister ASAP...

Shouldn't you actually unplug it before changing a fuse?

He did, it just broke again when he tried to use it, this time with fireworks.

Let's go buy a new one, huh...?
    Nothing to Lose
I'll just switch out the fuse...and...
    So it has blown!
    Hmm...maybe the fuse has blown?
    It won't get any powerrr!
    Kogasaaa, the microwave's brokennn!
If that was enough to blow the fuse, it's busted somewhere.
    Zappo!
    Cough
