Isn't she a ninja of the 'Hidden Leaf'? Then again, this is a 'timeskip' Chouchou, and maybe she visited her mom's village, or her mom taught her some skills of her old clan. Maybe I'm just being salty for no reason, but her character never had any association with swords or weapons of any kind (aside from throwing knives and stars), and weapon skills aren't hereditary.
