I guess nobody born in the 90s remembers what a boombox was.

No need for that as someone will translate this strip soon because this is one of the Kantai Collection 4-koma series that has a high demand for translation.

Boomboxes still exist in the 1990s in small sizes, only in the mid to late 2000's and today there's less of them around the world due to the digital music boom and it's mostly cheap boomboxes made in Asian countries that can act as radios, play CDs and DVDs that still exist and continue to be sold.

Yes, but if you're born in 1990, you would have been around 4-6 years old when they began to disappear. And that's a CD model - look at the pink hatch up top.

Indeed, literally left Hourai Gekisen half an hour ago. With an embarrassing large amount of doujin.

And also on holiday up at Fuji. And waiting to get a turn on Kancolle arcade (2-3 hours right now)

Welcome back, and thank you for your hard work! It looked at bit crazy around Yamato Nadeshiko and Sazanami Konami's shared booth, and I hear Tako had two books out too.

Let us know what it's like to poke Kongou a bit.

Hourai Gekisen is nothing compared to Comiket, it's very pleasant. Can't say the same for Reitaisai going on next door, though...

No Kongou, but the very first thing I did in game was build a Haruna.

This person has their priotities straight. Also, thank you for your past and present efforts on all of the translatorish stuff.

Final also, any word on Shino's next Akebono-san book?

More super luckyness; got holo Atago and Takao as drops on the first play also. Recent games, however... Got Houshou number 4 yesterday...

And of course, Haruna is daijoubu. Even more so when she's moving around and shooting things.

All Shino had at Hourai was Akebono's Day Off - ¥100, 2 lines, no waiting.

    When you play it...?
She's a fairly interesting girl you see!
    Shu?
When you play a cheerful ditty like thus?
What is it? What is it?
I have a feeling that something pointless is about to happen.
    Well, just watch and see!
    Is that so...
    She has become cheery indeed!
Her dance and even her degree of excitement change according to the tune!
When these two hear music, they can't help but dance to it!
This is all well and good, but in the end, she's not cooking.
This is Supply Depot Hime and Shuu-chan. supply here is read "shuuseki" in Japanese
Cooking is bothersome... Shuu-chan, do it for me.
