After this event, E-7 Summer will never give you nightmares again. In fact, you'll look back at it with the fond memories of happier times.

And that usually happens because you spend more time hoarding resources than leveling. If admirals with Lv 99 units and improved equipment have a hard time, imagine users with 300,000 in resources but Lv 80 (or less) and unimproved equipment.

At least she's a reward this time, not a drop.

Also, how much is considered "enough" resources, anyways? I've always been terrible at hoarding them and I've never had more than 70,000 of each at once.

Depend on the difficulty, your fleets and your strategy, really. Its sort of a meme "it is never enough resources".
70k each should be enough for early hard maps.

The yardstick is usually your regen cap. If you have about twice your regen cap, you'll be okay (you might run dry in the end but not before).

Spring Event 2016 will soon start after a very, very long maintenance.
Hopefully, we'll get to see Hisahiko's Iowa soon as well.

Yeah, and not only do the ships have to go through hell and back to get Iowa, they have to go through a rage-fueled Abyssal Arizona to get at Iowa.

There is none. Hisako was probably one of many who were overwhelmed by the salt and never got Iowa.

Reizei-san still sleeps....

I kinda feel bad for Hisahiko for not getting his Iowa, and the first time she showed up was also the last time... Hopefully she will be available the next major event.
