That I-class looks positively tiny, being the size of the tank. I guess it's playing with Katsuragi.

You think so? Looks about the same size it's always been. Wo-chan's friendly ones might be a tad bit smaller but I suspect the only reason it looks smaller to you is because we have the Panzer girls to compare to on the same panel.

Looks like it's time for Katsuragi to pay it forward after being rescued while adrift.

Judging from its wide-eyed, nonthreatening expression and the fact that it isn't reacting hostilely to Katsuragi, I'd say that IS one of Wo-class's friendly ones.

I suspect that I-class was being taken out on a walk by Katsuragi when they ran into this bunch. Funny how she went from rescuee to rescuer.

Still, that I-class is positively tiny compared to most shipgirls. Maybe variable size is a thing.
