Okay just saying, I know the artist was sticking to color combos here, but Satsuki is DEFINITELY Sith, not that shes evil or anything, just ideals.

I think the artist drew Ryuuko as a Jedi Knight and Satsuki as a Jedi Master not just because of the main color of their swords, but also of contrasting hairstyles. Ryuuko's hairstyle is similar to Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader's hairstyle before he was badly burned and forced to wear his famed armor, while Satsuki's hair length is almost similar to that of Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars anime.
