Of course Japan would want some tie in to the character, so yeah give her a Japanese last name. Either she married a Japanese man and took his last name, or she was born to a Japanese parent and took their last name. ◔_◔ Or she's related to Sean, in which case she may still have Japanese blood as Sean is said to be the grandson of such a person.

I guess this is Capcoms' way of including Sean in some way or another. They should just bring him back to the series...

His moves aren't "true" Ansatsuken techniques, and he's only "unpopular" because he was nerfed to hell in 3rd Strike.
