I actually wouldn't mind this being a thing with a bonus episode or a movie with Boruto and Himawari being sent back in time and meeting the younger versions of their parents during the first series and then the Shippuden series and watching their struggles and hardships and every now and then interacted with them on some occasions. But of course making sure they don't mess with the timeline or at least create an alternate timeline from theirs.
