Man, Drew really is one of my more favorite kancolle artist. I love how much he improves and love how much focus he puts on his chatacers. Granted, having only 4 characters does make it alot easier for him compare to the other artist but I still value his efforts.

While on the other hand, it is said that Samidare's artist has broken apart with Kancolle, so till now, almost nothing has been added for her and her sister Suzukaze.

if she leaves Kancolle, I hope her daughters' future won't be transfered to Kujou Ichiso, though I admit Ichiso is the best fit to continue her legacy

I love his art too, but still shock how Kadokawa hired him in the first place.

Although I don't hate Kujo or anything, I'm torn on the idea of him redrawing both of them. I seen him drew them before and they do look pretty good but then he uses the same face and eyes that he always does and it takes away both of Sami and Suzu's cuteness. Not to mention it just won't feel right. If he does redraw them I would at least want it to be a kai 2 so we have a choice of either switching or not. I don't know, I just can't settle with the idea of Samidare looking like a blue hair Shigure.
It's not like all the artist they gotten were pro artist, save for the guy who designed for Strike Witch and maybe another one. Drew probably gotten lucky or something. I doubt they paid the artist much anyway. Still, I'm glad he's surpassing expectations and improved so well.
