Actually, you might. It'd take awhile, but if they get cold, it'd be pretty miserable, since they don't have inner circulation with which to drive away the cold, and the areas they're attached to would ache from the chill.

Putting socks on something without circulation wouldn't help much though, socks are supposed to keep the warmth in...

I never really understood it either.
Astaroth also wears them in some images, so I'd assume it's just a fetich/added cuteness factor type of thing.

That's probably it. Her horns are pretty menacing, so the artist probably added them to counter that.

The socks are most likely for decoration. If they were meant to conserve warmth that would mean that the horns had some means of blood flow in them.

Horns are supposed to have a living core, with blood flowing inside, just like claws I guess.

u cant really call bone dead or alive. the reason is because bone doesn't have any blood vessels nor any nerves in it but it does have a core that is alive ur bone will not feel anything but the core will
