She does seemed more home schooled. Lol. But I think she would be better suited for Hufflepuff

I feel like I saw evidence very recently that suggested she's from Spain, but it's just surreal. I asked that question because Harry Potter takes place on Earth and, well, here she is on Earth. I do suggest that maybe "Kiki's Delivery Service" doesn't take place in our world, like "The Secret World of Arrietty" and "Sen and Chihiro's Spiriting Away" do, but when one character wears an outfit with their purported national flag on it, and another wears an outfit with their DEFINITE national flag on it, it just muddles my understanding of space. It's probably not worth going into any deeper, not this rabbit hole, yo.

Actually, the creators of Kiki's Delivery Service traveled to Sweden to get references for the environment. As a Swede I can confirm that everything in this anime gives me the nostalgic feeling of classic Astrid Lindgren series. Like the old live action series of "Pippi Longstocking", "Ronja the Robber's Daughter", "Rasmus and the Vagabond" and "Karlsson-on-the-roof" which I watched as a child. ^^
