Well, at least his arms look better than what he did for Hatsushimo although it still looks a bit wonky.
She looks elegant at least although barely any change outside of just a new searchlight.

Nah, I kid. I do like the reference to Guadalcanal, and I'm actually rather pleased that her new clothes are her own version of what Fubuki and Ayanami are wearing. Nice way of tying the Fubuki sub-class name ships together.

2) Blue colors on clothes are now black.
3) Elephant hair instead of messy.

So basically it's just the same art, but with more stuff bolted on so it looks cluttered and worse. It literally looks like she has a Swiss army knife attached to her back or something with all the crap jutting out at every angle.

Well, more clunky, yes, but I think the proportions are a bit better this time. The original looked kinda... offish.

And yet he's still less lazy than Shibafu, so in the end, that's a plus.

Make drastic changes, people complains (OK, Yuu to Ro is too drastic). Make slight changes, people complains.

That aside, my Akatsuki is still level 62... Whatever, I still have time.

The white stripes and anchors on her uniform are also black now. Also, I think the depth charge launcher on her back is new, and she traded her quad torp launchers for triple oxygen launchers.

Edit: Also now noticed that her tie has a yellow knot in it now, and she got rid of those strange-looking skis on her shoes.

Poi Kai-2 was juuusst perfect. Also Sig Kai-2, Yasen Kai-2, Aerith Kai-2, and Kantai Kaitai no Idol Kai-2.

She also gave her quad torp-launchers to Beppu-chan, apparently.

Shibafu at least try and make his a bit different and put more subtle references from the real life ships.
Even if he can't draw more than 2 or 3 faces he knows how to make his Kai-2 look like actual upgrades.

the art is actually lot better compared to her non-kai2
well yeah not as good as evolution of Mutsuki/Kisaragi to k2 but this one is good enough
