She's based off from Okiku, if memory serves me right, she was a servant (a favored one), and one of her task was taking care of his master's prized 10 plate collection. Things happened (probably jealous servants [may be wrong here]), a plate was lost/hidden, she was distraught that she jump into the well, and her ghost resides there, counting the plates up to nine... Futo's moveset includes use of plates, and you also have Futo summoning a wooden well where she comes out to attack.
