If the Abyssal shipgirls actually lived in the Abyssal (or Hadal) Zones, then it would make up a good deal of the energy entering their food chain. That, and whales and other large organisms that fall down there. The rest comes from 'Black Smokers', the underwater thermal vents.

I think it may be a fallen down penguin, but that would be silly because penguins don't fall down in the snow, and that goes for snow penguins doubly so!

Doubt it. If they do, they must have crazy amount of strength to survive the immense pressure. Either that or they would probably be jelly-like and soft while under there.

Clever. They just decided to make the snowman on it's side and make it look like Midway.
