I remember that mine stick from a short section in Medal of Honour: Rising Sun for PS2 where you ride a tank through a town in the Phillipines. They just charge straight at the tank. I guess the girl with mines strapped to her is supposed to run out and lay down infront of tanks though.

I remember those things too. They were used also in the film Letters from Iwo Jima I believe.

According to wikipedia, they were called Lunge mines. From all the Anti-tank grenades used during WWII it was the one with the most penetration.
