Hmm... I agree with the clever part, but is it really "stupid"? I can understand the stupid-ness of wearing the open-chest sweater backwards since it's not intended to be worn that way, but in regards to a winged character wearing it that way to have a convenient hole for his/her wings... Just don't see that as such a stupid idea, ya know?

I think it fits the pool rather well, for the reasons you yourself state. Wearing clothing backwards can be seen as silly or foolish, but in the situation at hand it's clever and a creative way to wear it.
