Look at it this way. If you send RJ, Naka, Sazanami, and Shigure to 3-5, it's not a robbery. It's a gift exchange.

My interpretation of it is that The Abyssals Stole Christmas and the ship girls must get back the presents for all the good little destroyers and cruisers.

yes, but the chances of getting a present box is low tho, if you got one, you can exchange it for resources/devmat/screws

There's this MMD, I don't know if it's on youtube. It says that Hoppo actually shot down the Santa Clause with those Abyssal bombers. Makes sense now that you mentioned it.
