    The Nexus 7 doesn't have an activation sound, but, well, it's manga-ish.

    The water hadn't flooded in as much as I thought when I opened it, so it feels like I managed to get by somehow. The attached cover case soaked up most of it, apparently. It's been two days now, and it's still moist. :-)

    And so, tonight, having learned nothing, I'm taking the bath with the Nexus 7 again.

    Incidentally, it's best not to blow hot air with the dryer.
