    Fleet Admiral Nagato

    Recently I was grinning like an idiot over a wild idea I have of admirals being retired ship girls. And since Nagato was the Combined Fleet flagship, I'd say she would do very well as an officer... . The necktie and boots she's wearing are the signature features of the IJN third-type uniform.

    Specifically a Fleet Admiral (the highest rank in a Navy), or (as the Japanese called it) a Marshal-Admiral, the same position held by Yamamoto Isoroku (AKA the mastermind of Pearl Harbor who had Nagato as his flagship during the same attack).
