Good to know that she got her wish granted. The JMSDF Commissioned the DD-105 Inazuma on 15 March 2000 as part of the Murasame-class destroyer and it's still in service today. :)

That negates the soul-crushingly depressing state of the post somehow. And that's a good thing.
