It works so well: she is bookish and (in many interpretations) bland/boring/blank/etc. with more than a hint of snark. Perfect for any harem-route VN MC. And for love interests, she's got quite the pick: loli-imouto, flat-chested ojou, sexy maid, sexy foreign martial artist, and a hot librarian! And they're HOUSEMATES.
And that's just the residents, she's also got the tomboy and the loner!

There's one as Marisa, but it's shit. There's another where you play a loser (pouah self-insert) and work for Miko as she's the president. It's bad.

Thanks for the info, of those the one where you play as Marisa would be the only remotely interesting. Can't stand outsiders/OCs/self-inserts either! It was to be expected I suppose.
