There's also another comic (can't find it) where Naka asked Jintsuu to shine on her stage with the searchlight. She did, and blindingly so. Author commented that the searchlight is supposed to be bright enough to be used as reading light from 10 km away. The heat is also intense.

She is just talking about "face", not being specific of whose face it is.
